A 2 day river descent


At the end of the day our evenings were spent around the camp fire (well it’s a big torch really) where the day’s activities were discussed and many of the staff and pupils got their groove going.

We spent 2 exhausting days away from camp where we all took part in a kayak decent of the river. We stopped along the way to have lunch and take part in activities whether we liked it or not as Mr. Bias and Mr. Barton spent most of their time chasing pupils and staff down the river only then to tip them out of their kayaks. Along the way we took in further amazing views. We all tried to navigate the rapids but obviously there were some that did better than others. At the end of the day we camped up river and got to sleep under the stars with the bugs. Most of our days were spent taking part in the activities that were available although on some occasions the sites fantastic swimming pool offered a refreshing break from the heat. We all had a thoroughly amazing time and cannot wait for LABEAUME 2010.
